Mrs. Lisa Harvey

Hello students and parents, my name is Lisa Harvey and I am one of the two School Counselors for the Northfield Community School.  It is exciting for me to be a member of the NCS staff as I enjoy serving the students, parents and faculty.  My primary counseling responsibilities focus on working with the middle school students, faculty and parents.  As the middle school test coordinator, I work with the middle school students, staff, and parents to administer the New Jersey State testing program. As the designated Student Assistance Counselor, I am our district's resource for information on issues pertaining to drug and alcohol issues.

With the knowledge and skills I have acquired during many years of counseling, I will assist the NCS students in their endeavors to reach their full academic and personal potential.  Services include assistance with education, career, personal, and social issues.  Students may arrange to see me by asking me directly, leaving a message, or asking their teacher.  Parents are welcome to call me to discuss issues regarding their children and, if necessary, schedule an appointment to meet with myself and/or their child’s teacher(s).

It is my mission to work together with students, families, and the faculty and staff at Northfield Community School to help make your child’s educational and developmental experience as rich and rewarding as possible.  I look forward to meeting with you throughout the school year.
